A very special event indeed, this is a full band concert in two parts performed by Michael Nyman & The Michael Nyman Band, with guest soprano Marie Angel. The evening begins with Michael and his band playing a selection of his well-known compositions, spanning his collaboration with Peter Greenaway, to recent film music and more. After a break Michael and the band perform the World Premiere performance of ‘On Landguard Point’ – a new musical work which is the soundtrack to our film, commissioned by Pacitti Company and with original texts by Robert Pacitti and Sheila Ghelani.
